'Wizardo Rekords' or 'El Wizardo Discos was a US Unofficial label maintained by J. Wizardo (aka Jon Tschirgi) and infamous chum Larry Feign. They produced some of most collecable vinyl bootlegs thruout the '70s. It should be noted that the 'majority of inTypeion' on the Inlay is incorrect.

Why the cover sheet should give details of a 'July 16th Concert 1975' at 'The Roxy, LA' is one of those mysteries that always surround Beefheart and The Magic Band?

At the very start of Side 1 - Don announces the band which is definately the '73 "Zoot Horn Rollo" / "Rockette Morton" line-up and certainly not the 1975 Tour band that came over for a 'one off' appearance at the UK 'Knebworth Festival' that year and did in fact play 'The Roxy Theatre' in LA and a few other West Coast dates on or around July 16th 1975.

The album was in fact recorded over 2 Shows on the '3rd + 5th January 1973' at The Troubadour, West Hollywood, Cal. (Not LA Roxy,1975 as the Inlay states.) Also the Band's line-up is incorrectly documented.

The correct band line-up should read; Don Van Vliet (aka Captain Beefheart) Vocals, Harmonica; Alex St Claire (Snouffer) Guitar, Slide Guitar; Bill Harkleroad (Zoot Horn Rollo) Lead Guitar, Slide Guitar; Mark Boston (Rockette Morton) Guitar, Bass Guitar; Roy Estrada (Audi Hon-Orejon) Bass Guitar; Art Tripp (Ed Marimba) Drums, Percussion;

NB. A well-known Vliet quote appears at the foot of cover; "There are only five great men in the world and three of them are hamburgers".
