Issued in standard jewel case with booklet and back insert placed in a foldout, corrugated cardboard cover. The outside of the cover is tan/brown cardboard; the inside has "k.d. lang Ingenue" in white printed on green background. The cover closes with a string that wraps around circular tabs on the top and bottom flaps. When closed the cover is banded with a paper slip (also showing "k.d. lang Ingenue") that has the promotional catalog number (9 26840-2-dj) on the back. The slip also states, "Promotional only. Not for sale."
