"With regard to the item by Benny Carter's Orchestra. We make no apology for including this along with the Eckstine tracks other than it was contained in the master tapes sent to us from America and represented as being by Billy's band. A little research soon established that this was not so and the complete personnel of the Carter band is shown above."
"You may like to know that all the tapes for this LP have been remastered, as near as possible, to 1961 recording standards. Slight surface noise has been retained in order not to lose the authenticity of the original performances."
(These tracks were originally recorded for Deluxe Records.)
