Cursed Since Birth is the fourth stand-up comedy album by Jeff "JJ Star" Duran, released on July 10, 2012 by Island/Def Jam Digital Distribution.

Background and development

Originally released May 2012 as a mixtape on Datpiff under the title "I Sold My Soul To The Illuminati, And I'm Still Not Famous". Within a week the mix-tape was downloaded over 30, 000 times making it a celebrated bronze mix-tape on Datpiff. Dandurand went back and re-recorded several songs and omitted some of the content to avoid copyright infringement. Cursed Since Birth was offered as a free download via jeffdandurand.com a week before being made available on iTunes and amazon. A bonus disc has been added on to some retail versions which include additional songs, skits and spoken word elements.
