This is an Original Cast recording of: The Original South African Musical, direction and original idea by Leon Gluckman. The cast, also called The Company, includes Kendrew Lascelles, Zelide Jeppe, Marina Christelis (Bell on track B2). Also Home Made Bull Fiddle by Paul Tracey on tracks A2 & B2, Hammer by Jeanette James on track B2, African Timbila by Andrew Tracey on track A7, Mouth-resonated Linguaphone by Jeremy Taylor on track A9. There were other musical instruments used, but not credited to any individuals, such as: Clarinet, Tuba, Melodica, Penny Whistle, Tea-chest Bass, Rattle, Clappers, Drums & Bamboo scratcher. These were credited to The Company on tracks B4, B6 & B7. Track B6 is based on Verdi's Aida. Track B1 became better known as "Ag Pleez Daddy".
