‘SONIC MMABOLELA’ is a workshop/residency for sound artists & composers carried out once a year in the savannah environment of Mmabolela Reserve, Limpopo, South Africa. The residency is conceived and directed by Francisco López. Coordination and logistics by Barbara Ellison. This release features compositions made by the artists participating in the 2017 Sonic Mmabolela residency, using the recordings they made there.
