This is a recording of the original version of the complete ballet which was released by Everest in 1959.The catalogue number on the labels is STE-359, but the number on the sleeve is S/2429 so both numbers are included. Between 1965 and 1974, early WRC releases were reissued by the World Record Club using numbers between S-2300 and S-3000 - however, many of these reissues retain the old numbers on the LP labels. Also issued on reel-to-reel at the same time. Not reissued in mono. Although the copy used here is dated June 1969, the address combination points firmly to 1968.
